We Are All Guilty Here is the first in a new series by Karin Slaughter. This book takes place in a small Georgia town where nearly everyone is family. Two teenage girls go missing on 4th of July during the fireworks and the main character, Deputy Sheriff Emmy sees one of the girls, Madison, just before her disappearance.

While the book is about the search to find the person who abducted the girls, it is also about family, the challenges and the secrets. Great book! Look forward to the next in the series.
