Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an ARC of The Two Prophets by Jeff Fulmer.  While this book was considered a stand-alone book, I went back and read the two other books that have the same main character and precede this book in time.

As the title suggests, Peter Quell is a modern-day prophet who has dreams that eventually come true. The story in this book and other books strike a remarkable resemblance to current day political events. For me, the book strikes much too close to home and I had a difficult time finishing it. Books are my escape from the worries of the world. I don’t need to read about if I am living it.

Keep turning those pages….
