Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for trusting me when an ARC of Bellevue by Robin Cook. Bellevue is the story of Matthew "Mitt" Fuller and his first year of surgical residency at Bellevue Hospital in New York. Mitt comes from a long line of doctors who previously served at Bellevue and his family legacy precedes him. We quickly learn that past family members had a less than positive past and Mitt's experience turns negative with the unexplained deaths of his patients. He also experiences strange smells and sights. If he says something about these strange experiences, it could end his career.

I have not read any of Robin Cook's books in many years. Bellevue drew me in and kept me engaged. I really enjoyed the historical aspects of the book. It left me wanting to know more about Bellevue.

The only that that was not for me were the supernatural parts of the book and this was a major part of this book. Besides that, I would give Bellevue a strong Four Stars and would recommend the book.

Keep turning those pages...
